I've been pretty surprised at the paths of some bruises. It's like the blood just goes wandering around under the skin. Oh gee, I've never been to the toes before. C'mon lymphocites, let's check 'em out! I accidentally punctured a vein in my ankle when I was a teenager. The wound itself was only one small spot, but the bruise leaked down about 2 inches.
