The ones that I've read thus far haven't felt like bragging and the items selected felt mostly in the "Here's a tidbit about a really interesting story that you're free to ask me about" field. Well... sorta. Maybe that's as much my state of mind in reading them as the intent of the author. I just realized that the one most clearly in my mind did list "Got a 1600 on the SATs" as well as such things as "Made a music video featuring an animated benefits enrollment wizard." It is just that the latter category grabbed most of my attention.
(And for that matter, knowing the guy in question, he's more likely to regard having gotten a 1600 on the SAT as more of an oddity than an accomplishment.)
