Those with little or no defense against a thing often label that thing Wrong. It's easier to do that than to learn a new skill.

Mmm, yeah, that too. I was thinking more along the lines of people labeling social behaviors rather than people with cherished assumptions... but yeah. Very similar sort of behavior-patterns.

(Makes me think where *I* might be doing this sort of thing, too, which is half the fun.)
