No, I didn't get sick*, but life is definitely looking up.

Up-Looking Item The First: I declare myself done with C1 choreo for the trip. I have enough hard stuff and enough interesting-but-not-deathly-hard stuff. Huge item off my plate. Yay!

Up-Looking Item The Second: Y'know what? No babies will die if I do not finish every lesson in Pimsleur Japanese Unit II before departure. Half way through is FINE. 2/3 or 3/4 is GREAT. I'll get there easy.

Up-Looking Item The Third: At work, a software bug that looked like it would be very hard to fix turned out to be easy.

Up-Looking Item The Fourth: I told my boss about my confidence level on finishing the work I still have left before departure. He simply nodded and prioritized. Excellent. I'll still do my best to do it all, of course, but I'm not doing it while terrified that the "bad news" will be "discovered".

Up-Looking Item The Fifth: I can BORROW camera batteries and a microdrive for this trip. No need to buy, at least not yet.

OK, now that I'm looking up so hard my eyes are rolling back into my head, I'll get back to work.

*sadly, Rob's minor cold got worse. Ugh. :-(

You'll probably never need anything in that last 25% of Pimsleur Japanese. :)

Yay! I love it when friends have good news! I hope everything goes swimmingly!

(Where did that expression come from, anyway? It's pretty strange, when you think about it. =scratches head= )
