Throb. Throb.

I forgot what it was like before I got those orthotics. My doctor took them away this morning for repairs. I haven't done much walking today, yet my whole left forefoot is throbbing now. I wonder how I'm going to do without them for two weeks. I may cancel all square dancing activity (except calling, of course).

Owie! Can you ice the feet periodically, and does it at least provide a little temporary relief?

*hugs*

I've had my Orthotics now for almost 7 years. Those weeks that you have to leave them with the Doc can be hell, but I found a really good temporary solution. Dr. Scholls came out with a gel orthotic about two or three years ago. I highly recommend it and you should be able to find it at any drug store that carries Dr. Scholls products.

Oh, forgot to mention, these are not the flat gel insoles, they are the formed partly in gel, but partly in solid plastic with a bit of a heal.
