It's one of the annoying ironies of the universe that short hair gets hat-head worse than really long hair does.

Which is precisely the reason I've been letting my hair grow, after a couple of decades of keeping it either fairly or very short! It's shoulder length now, and I haven't decided where to stop yet. I'm not going to waist length, but I do want it to be long enough to put up in a pretty way, so I don't have just the dorky little sticking-out ponytail which is all I can get with it so far.
