Yeah, I can go soak up a little time in a Cessna or even a Citabria. Just flying will be fine, but acro would quease me. (Quease! I made up a word. I think I like it.)

Yes, "CJ" is what I go by most often. Friends call me CJ. Ticked-off parents and financial institutions call me Carol. :-)

Just in case it's not clear, I'm totally happy to pay my share of gas, percentage toward engine overhaul, etc etc, if you do wind up giving me a ride. Pittses do not fly cheap and I'm certainly not expecting one to fly for free!

Yeah... I never had a chance to ride with my grandfather in his Cessna, as he lost his medical long before I would remember, but I empathize... it's sad to realize just how difficult it now is for an average guy to own and fly his own aircraft.
