Kittens for Adoption

Kittens

I could foster them 'til they're "weaned" and socialized a bit. If you've been thinking about getting a cat, and if you've been thinking that one by itself would get lonely and bored, siblings are a great bet.

[ps: the kittens are in the San Jose, California area, as am I.]

EDIT: They all have homes now! Yay!

ooo, great offer! I'll take you up on it if I do wind up fostering them and still need homes.

I'm so glad they were rescued! I hope their new families find their new pets as rewarding as my friend E does.

When E and C's adult daughter A was back living at home for awhile, she saw a crowd around the dumpster at work, and discovered there were two three-day-old kittens in a box. Their eyes weren't even open yet. She took one home, and her parents were not pleased, especially since A was not responsible enough to take proper care of it -- meaning they would have to. But E went to the pet store and bought cat's milk replacer, and for weeks she bottle-fed the tiny newborn every 2 hours around the clock! The kitten loved to cuddle up on A's father's chest and go to sleep, and he said it was the greatest antidepressant ever invented, so they named it Prozac (Zac for short). He grew up to be a very sweet, playful, healthy cat, and is a wonderful companion for E, who is now a widow.
