Holidays 4: Baking

My mom is being very careful about what she eats. I'm not sure she'd say she's on a diet, but it's close enough as makes no never mind. My sister and her boyfriend are perennially careful. I don't think they've eaten dessert since 1998.

I was SOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD and didn't bake ANYTHING. No cookies, no shortbread, no cakes, no... well, okay, two pumpkin pies, but that was IT.

Now I'm itching to bake for the holidays. It's only five days late, right? Christmas has twelve days, right? And I can bake on the plane to New England day after tomorrow, right? Er, well.

Well, in theory if you were in a small plane you could "bake" something under the hood using the heat of the engine.

I'm sure the FAA might have what-to to say about THAT though.. and well, you'd be better off cooking meat that way, not something that needs more precise cooking times.

Er, or are you leaving on a jet plane? ;)

Did you leave out "Holidays 3"?

Sorry, just being a QA Engineer. %-}

P.S.: Many people don't like to look at vacation pix. You should try
BZ, or maybe [livejournal.com profile] arkibet (never mind that you've never met him).
