And incredibly grey in February ;-). Intense, exciting, but being a woman there must have been even harder. It wasn't a friendly place to begin with... and when I was there, the M/F ratio was 4.3:1.
Uni-fried? Roof and tunnel tours? The Tomb of the Unknown Hacker? IHTFP? (grin) A great place to be from, but not necessarily to be there. Stanford (IMO) is saner.
