I think BOTH cats horked last night. I had eight lovely spots to clean this morning. Eight. Fortunately I'm getting better; I can clean one and have no trouble with the bite of breakfast in my mouth.

Aaah, the roof guy is here! Now that he's set up, I can go run.

I wasn't aware that cat horking was a sign of spring. Hmmm, spring hasn't sprung here yet, then, as our cat hasn't horked. *sigh*

What ever happened to the first robin of spring?

I don't know which post is more surreal today, yours -- this one -- or this one (http://www.livejournal.com/community/_dreamland_/26916.html)

Ernie used to do that no matter what I did. Most often, though, when he bolted his food for some reason. That on top of the incipient hairballs was a real problem, apparently. The other cats we've had (both shorthair), it seemed to be related to something they ate outdoors (obviously not a problem for your indoor-only kitties).

Sylvia, OTOH, seems to be peeing for entertainment recently. It's either that or she's really peeved at Allegra (which is most certainly possible). She peed in Allegra's bed twice today. *sigh* Akien just ordered a ScatMat online.

Ummm, we have these cats because we LOVE them, right? I just needed some reminding.... ;^)
