Physics lab final this morning. Went well, I think.

Bio lab final this evening. Went moderately well. I don't think I changed my overall grade, which should still be hovering splat in the middle of the A+ zone, but this exam wasn't one of my better showings.

Physics written final Tuesday, chem written final Friday morning, bio exam #4 *and* written final (2 separate tests) Friday afternoon.

I get to attempt to register for classes tomorrow at 5am. Of the three classes I desperately need, I can take a maximum of two due to schedule conflicts between them. All sections of all three are full and have hefty wait lists. (Yes, I checked Foothill too, not that I think I can physically get around that campus enough to go to classes there.)

Welcome to community college science major hell.

It turns out that almost everybody on campus qualifies for some kind of early registration. If your parents show low or no income in the US (they can be oil moguls elsewhere, just no US income), or if you're in some kind of honor society (which means taking an extra useless class every quarter), or a bunch of other things I haven't investigated fully yet, you register before registration officially opens for the general student body. The system is designed to be maximally unfair in this particular way. Most of the people I know on campus registered in November.

It is clear I need to get into one of these categories by spring quarter. Evidently anyone who doesn't is a chump. (Maybe being a gimp will do it. This is California. Heck, maybe being female will do it.) It's too late for this coming quarter, though, so until about 5:10am tomorrow I'll just cross my fingers and hope.
