Thank you

Thanks to everyone who gave suggestions about the bridal shower attire and gifts. I did indeed ask the maid of honor, and I got reasonable guidelines on both questions. The bride isn't registered anywhere, and I don't know her THAT well, so I went with a bottle of French wine (romantic, I hoped) and a nice card. The shower was lovely and fun.
