My heart aches

My heart goes out to two people in my extended family who lost a teenage son today. My heart goes out to two girls who lost a brother, and also, in a different way, to the young man now departed.

The circumstances were particularly sad and poignant and horrific, and no one in that family will ever be the same.

My heart aches for every one of them.
