Not so bad day

Fog was GORGEOUS this morning. Mmmm, I love nice thick soupy fog.

I am the proud holder of many delicious snickerdoodles left over from my friend's baking. Wonderful! I gave two away to a coworker and I'm hoarding the rest. cackle cackle cackle

Several meetings today, in between which I also got a little bit of work done. Not too bad. :-)

Tomorrow I'll call my podiatrist to make a follow-up appointment. 1) No, just like the last five, the latest painkiller does not do diddly. 2) If you're out of ideas, let's call it a day. A for effort, thanks for all the things you tried, I'll write if I find work a cure. Then I'll call the acupuncturist and set that up. One step at a time.

I may also, if my sense of humor is up to it, write a pointed note to Team In Training. I am really tired of their promotional materials telling me that "anyone can" go do their triathlons or runs or whatever. I'm not anyone, eh? Thanks a lot. And not one single soul is running to cure me. I won't miss that endless stream of cheery little reminders in the mail. Buh-bye.

Also, dentist appointment tomorrow morning. My life is full of glamor and adventure! Don't you wish you were me? Maybe it's time to dye my hair red, or a nice hazel-green, just because I can.
