A weekend spent goofing off

My parents are in town, so I spent both days this weekend doing various things about town with the two of them. Saturday was the Computer History Museum* (for my dad) and the East-West Bookshop and some Thai food (for my mom). Sunday was some real estate education and quite a few artists' Open Studios**. I now have pretty things to hang in my standard-issue gray cubicle.

I even got a mild sunburn. No shock, I suppose; I can get a sunburn from a weather report.

It's been quite a while since I spent a weekend just doing weekendy things. It was strange to come in to work this morning after being away that long. Glad I left myself a note about what I had been doing.
