I'm updating my LJ memories, which I use as an indexing system. Every so often I find I have a few posts with a certain theme, and I think okay, I'll add that keyword and begin marking posts with that theme. For example, the keyword "hiking" came in somewhere in 2003 because I was doing so much of it.
I'm resisting adding the keyword "stupidity". When I see something I think is mind-bogglingly inefficient, I post about it here. When I get customer service so poor that it amazes me the place is still in business, I rant about it. When I see a stunning display of "unobservant", I shake my head and mention it here. Less frequently, when I see someone stating they want thing A and then taking actions that will all but guarantee that they never ever get thing A, I might post a sad ramble about that, too. These aren't the majority of my posts by any means, but when I find a post about something like this, that post is not usually about anything ELSE but this.
*sigh* Suppose I could reframe it as "potential_improvements"? Ah, who am I fooling?
