After two hours sitting here, I now have only 75 friends-postings left to read in order to "catch up" on LJ. This on top of disk-space-repair required by a really large piece of spam (and a few hundred others). Serious pruning and likely a change of e-mail address will occur soon. :-/

1. How many times have you truly been in love?
"In" love? I've had overwhelming emotions of attachment many times. Looking back, I now believe I didn't truly LOVE some of those people; I was IN love with them. Need, want, attachment, desire, fear of loss, fear of judgment -- y'know, your basic temporary insanity, and very self-centered.
2. What was/is so great about the person you love(d) the most?
Reciprocal feelings, mainly.
3. What qualities should a significant other have?
Very intelligent. Works toward self-awareness. Delights in my company. Genuinely compassionate. Sex-positive. Generally non-judgmental. Takes control of own life. Comfortable with me having control of mine. Willing and able to work on problems. Ideally, bi. Ideally, a switch. Ideally, enjoys camping and loves cats.
4. Have you ever broken someone's heart?
Once. It sure looked like heartbreak from where I was sitting. He pulled through.
5. If there was one thing you could teach people about love, what would it be?
How different it looks to each person.
