Wheee!

Several wheee! today.

1. Finally took off the other pressure-bandage. Underneath was a shallow pock-mark: the skin wasn't pulled all the way together at the very surface. Dang, no wonder I'm getting little stinging sensations! Replaced with a Little Mermaid band-aid stretched way the heck out to pull it closed. Cool. Progress.

2. I get to see my friend Dianna today! Maybe. She's going to call me back. I'm looking forward to seeing her kids (she has two wonderful daughters) and hearing how her job search is going. Maybe I can take her to lunch. We both love Thai... I can almost taste it now.

3. My kitty seems to have gotten over whatever she had that was making her eyes very watery and her nose just a bit too wet.

4. It's sunny out!

What a great evening

I ate leftover spaghetti, got a pedicure from a nine-year-old, painted each one of my fingernails a different color, and watched Shrek again. I got "killed" by a five-year-old's "vampire" (paper) fingernails, commiserated about surgery with one of the adults, square danced with the nine-year-old, oohed and aahed over various kids' trophies, got to know a beautiful and friendly parrot, and got to know a cute somewhat-shy three-year-old.

I like visiting my friend Dianna. :-)
