Things to be happy about

I need a list like this right about now. So I'll make one!

I can distract myself a little bit from icky unresolved personal conversations by focusing on work and square dance calling. (Not optimal long-term, but very useful short-term.)

I got to teach 1/3 recycle at square dancing last night, which was fun. Nine out of ten C1 dancers can't do that call. My dancers can!...for now anyways.

My access badge, which I clumsily managed to fold in half this morning, is still holding together despite the obvious fractures. It's even still functional, which means I can go to the bathroom! (Our bathrooms are in the lobby, so we need a badge to get back in.)

I have sleuthed out WHERE TO ASK FOR A REPLACEMENT badge.

My Amazon.com order shipped today. Three yummy books are on their way to me!

My sweet little kitty was very affectionate this morning. She purred up a little storm, butting her head against my hand and brushing the length of her body against me. It's so good to be loved.

I get to spend the evening with Rob tonight.

The hot tub comes tomorrow. (No electric yet, though.)
