Holy moly what a day

In the past 24 hours, I have:
- helped a friend move (part way)
- made a depressingly long list of what I need to do before Saturday
- done two errands on the way to work this morning
- almost finished everything I need to do at work
- gotten a HUGE helping of more stuff to do at work
- fixed all that, too
- fought with the source code control system and won
- gone to see Carl (separate post)
- failed, yet again, to get eight hours of sleep (got six)
- responded to innumerable requests for me to do things, go places, buy things, etc etc etc, mostly related to the holidays

Given that, I'm proud of how well I'm holding up! :-)

Things to be grateful for today: Safeway is open 24 hours, and so is the Walgreen's at Grant and El Camino. If it weren't for these two places being open before 10am I would have been royally hosed on getting some errands done. Kerryn and Viresh and Jason at work are very competent and can be depended on. Some of my family members made "wish lists" early so I could get some holiday shopping out of the way before this week. My car hasn't completely died yet.
