First run in well over two weeks. 1.2 miles, something like fifteen minutes. Intentionally short just to get started again.

I worry about my right knee. It ached, off and on, throughout my vacation. Is running doing it some damage that I don't feel until I quit exercising for a day or two? If so, how lasting is it? Should I quit running until my knee is perfectly pain-free again? How long will that take? Or is the damage done? Should I run for the rest of my life, to keep the pain at bay, and dread the day I fall ill?

I wish I trusted a doctor to give me the right answers.
