1. What's one thing you wish you could do but can't?
Levitate.
2. What is your ideal marriage location?
Someplace outdoors, beautiful, with lots of trees, rock, and water nearby. If it weren't so overdone, Yosemite.
3. Which musical instrument do you wish you could play?
ALL of them! If I had to pick one, lap harp.
4. What's your favorite day of the week, and why?
Saturday. Breakfast at the Original Pancake House... hiking... puttering about the house... playing with the cats... heaven.
5. Favorite fabric?
Anything soft but durable. Knit washable silk, Tencel, cotton jersey, that sort of thing.
6. Something you love and hate:
My work. It's creative AND it can be drudgery...
7. What kind of bedding do you use?
Gazillion thread count cotton sheets, a fuzzy blanket, and a pretty quilt with greens and browns in it.
8. What kind of soap do you use?
Usually, shampoo left in my hands from doing my hair. But I have a nice almond clove bar I use sometimes too.
9. Do you tell your friends about your sex life?
Sure. Except friends I've recently stopped sleeping with; that's just mean.
10. What's the one language you want to learn?
ALL of them! OK, if I had to pick one, Swedish, because I may be there next year.
11. How do you eat an apple?
I like them sliced in wedges.
12. What do you order at a bar?
Ginger ale. I do my heavy drinking (yummy wines) at home.

Yes. I can even do it in hex or octal. Is this a trick question?

No, I've always had a pro do it. ;-)

Not yet - haven't thought of anything quite perfect enough that I'd want to wear it forever.
16. Would you ever admit to having done plastic surgery of any kind if confronted?
Well, I haven't (unless braces count). I think I would if I had. Hard to say.
17. What's one of the "funnest" things you've ever done:
Went to Portland on a whim and visited Powell's Books. OK, that may not sound like a whoopin'-hollerin' good time, but if you knew me and my love for books...
18. Do you drive stick?
Sure, but only if Stick Shift Snob witnesses are not around.
19. What's one trait you hate in a person?
I have to pick just ONE? Um. Having no clue about the ramifications of their actions.
20. What's the one trait you need in a person?
A sincere desire to grow and improve.
21. What kind of watch(es) do you wear?
The Most Beautiful Watch in the Whole Wide World! Well, ok, I named it that during the year I went and visited it in the store before I actually got it. It's a black women's Movado with a round face and black metal band. It's sooooooo beautiful.
22. Most frivolous purchase?
Some of the opals I own. It's not that they're very expensive, and they are beautiful, and I love them. But I really have no NEED for them.
23. Do you consider yourself materialistic?
In some ways. I reeeeeally want a nice aerobatic plane to fly.
24. What do you cook the best?
I assume this means "what do I cook that turns out tasting the best?". Probably pumpkin pie with real whipped cream (just a dash of vanilla in that cream... yum!)
25. Favorite writing instrument?
Computer keyboard.
26. Do you prefer to stand out or blend in?
Usually, blend in, but I'll stand out in odd ways sometimes just to skew people's expectations.
27. Do you have anything monogrammed?
No. I think I see that as a guy thing.
28. Would you ever go out dressed like the opposite sex?
Sure - I enjoy wearing pants. Or do you mean shirtless? I've done that too. ;-)
29. What's one car you will never buy?
Those things that look like pickup trucks in the back but instead of a cab they have the front half of a car.

Only caffeine, sugar, alcohol. Those do enough to me!
31. What kind of books do you like to read?
Science fiction, fantasy, now getting into nonfiction science and history and anthropology.
32. If you won the lottery, what would you do first?
Faint, or yell and holler.

Cremation.
34. How many online journals do you read regularly?
About seven or eight - however many are on my Friends list.
35. What's one thing you're a sore loser at?
Sex. ;-)

I avoid hanging out with them. I'm polite, unless they aren't, but I avoid them.

Two glasses of wine will do it.

Salt and butter. Jiffy Pop is really not too bad.

Nope. Got that out of my system backstage.

I try not to, but sometimes, yeah.

Usually I think of myself as appearing shy and ineffectual; then someone will make a comment indicating that I actually come off as strong and competent. My self-image hasn't caught up to that one yet.

Sing in the shower.
43. What's the worst thing you ever said to someone?
I don't know - probably something on the order of "I hate you."
44. What's the worst thing anyone ever said to you?
"I wish you had never been born." (my mom.)

More a giver, but a little of both.

When they've asked me to.

Something to tie back my hair so it won't get in my face.

Quarterly maybe. But I send her e-mail more often than that :-).

Probably my first breakup. Or else it was getting medicine injected into that silver-dollar-size blister when I was in the Army. My buddy said my eyes rolled all the way back to pure whites when the medic pushed the plunger.
