Schedule reaching redline capacity! fweep! fweep!

My PalmPilot informs me that I am in town exactly one weekend between now and mid-September, and that's July 13-14. (Even that one's not completely free.) I currently have two weekends free in September, one in October, and things start loosening up again in November.

Hmm. Between now and September I have one day free. Thank goodness the evenings are looking a little better lately, or I might have to take vacation days just to do errands! :-O

Dang CJ! You're popular!

Guess so. There are a couple weddings and several square dance calling gigs; the rest is social. Lots of these weekends are with Rob. He's semiretired, probably starting to get bored during the week, and wants to fill up the weekends with lots of activity.

Can't say I fault his choice of how to spend the time either. If you're anywhere near as much fun to be around as you seem from LJ, you're right fine company.

*blush*

eep! Sounds like *my* life--and you don't even have kids (excluding Rob, of course!)

[identity profile] cjsmith.livejournal.com 2002-07-02 11:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes. I look at my schedule and I know I'd have to give up a lot to have kids. Some people merely have to pack things more tightly, or become more efficient. I've done that -- lots of that! I'd have to cut stuff... :-(

How many of those weekends are spend coming to see me? Or can I put a bid in for july 13-14? ;)

[identity profile] cjsmith.livejournal.com 2002-07-03 09:12 am (UTC)(link)
Even that one's not completely empty! I think I get to come visit you when you're settled into your NEW home... whaddya think?

Fabulous! When are you coming? ;)

[identity profile] cjsmith.livejournal.com 2002-07-03 03:15 pm (UTC)(link)
When're you ready? :-) Me and Cyd, we'll have way too much fun visiting you!!

[identity profile] just-cyd.livejournal.com 2002-07-03 02:39 pm (UTC)(link)
eeek! just thinking about this sends me into shutdown mode. how do you do this??

perhaps we should get with Lisa and start considering dates for our trip to see her next year?

[identity profile] cjsmith.livejournal.com 2002-07-03 02:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Dunno how -- I guess I just keep failing to die ;-)

No need to consider dates RIGHT now, but maybe by the end of the year it'd be good to at least have which month penciled in. I book square dance contracts a coupla years out but everything else is only about a season ahead. (Gah. Re-reading that, I sound like I need an agent. It's really not that bad!)

[identity profile] just-cyd.livejournal.com 2002-07-03 02:58 pm (UTC)(link)
ok, i'll make a note to start discussing overseas travel around december/january.

you don't need an agent, but a personal assistant might be a big help. i know one if you're interested! ;-)

[identity profile] cjsmith.livejournal.com 2002-07-03 03:03 pm (UTC)(link)
I suspect I know who you mean, and I wish I had enough money to pay her what she's so definitely obviously worth!!

[identity profile] gs.livejournal.com 2002-07-04 03:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Wow! I hope you're available Tuesday night. I'll be back in the states by then, and I thought we might have a couple of things to catch up on.

You spoke first, so you've got it! (You beat Ike-from-Massachusetts by a handful of e-mail messages. 'Sokay; I've seen Ike recently, and Rob will have at least as much fun talking to Ike without me along.)

What American schtuff do you miss? Are any of the kids longing for peanut butter?
