Yay! I would love to see people posting substantive things here and actually engaging in conversation. I don't suppose it'll ever be like LJ in its heyday, but I'd love to see more activity here. I feel like I can't post anything meaningful on Facebook; I'm there because that's where a lot of people I care about are, but it's an arena where everything feels very public, and I feel so many eyes on me that I hesitate to say much.

Ohai. After your most recent post I felt like there must be some history and I needed to read back. And I find you only rediscovered this place about a month before I did. It was really nifty to see you this past weekend for the first time in aaaaaaages and I would be totally up for getting together sometime over a warm beverage if you're up for it. My work being in Mountain View makes south bay destination after work pretty reasonable.
