Ooo, good luck to usqueba. I hope she recovers swiftly! When I had abdominal surgery I too was able to get the incision (well, the dressings) wet. This "keeping it dry" concept is a new one on me.

No one knows yet whether I'll be able to run again. This surgery fixed problem number one out of three. The other two have no easy solution. Once I'm recovered a bit we get to see how much of my pain was this and how much was the other two.
