I forgot what it was like before I got those orthotics. My doctor took them away this morning for repairs. I haven't done much walking today, yet my whole left forefoot is throbbing now. I wonder how I'm going to do without them for two weeks. I may cancel all square dancing activity (except calling, of course).

I have some over-the-counter arch supports in now, and it's a big help. Thanks for the tip about the Dr. Scholls ones. I may try those.

yer welcome, they worked realy well for me. I have the special meta-tarsal pads too. I can certainly sympathize with needing to make sure they're in the right place!
