I'm single... temporarily. rfrench is in Massachusetts until Monday. I get the house all to myself. Of course I'm already planning how wild and crazy I am going to act for the next few days. Ah, the life of a bachelorette! Flirting by day and partying all night! Here's my dastardly plan, in two parts. First, I'll leave the windows closed so that when the furnace is on, the house actually gets warm (shocking, I know)! Second, I'll... shhhh, don't tell rfrench this one... I'll let the cats sleep on the bed.

Trying to keep me off the bed, I see. ;-) I love cats, but my allergies to them are pretty fierce. Seriously, though, I've actually been able to share bed space with cats as long as they aren't right up at my face.

If my cats had half a brain to share between them, they'd be plotting to find rfrench somewhere else to sleep. Any time we're separated they get on the bed. However, I think each cat has two neurons: one labeled FOOD and one labeled INVISIBLE THING MOVING AROUND.

i think Samkitty started that the day he moved in with me, and i live alone!! now with two furkidds, any time i have overnight guests, if we don't get into bed first, there won't be room for two humans and two kitties. and even that's not a guarantee that one human won't get kicked out during the night.
