cjsmith | I am so tired of other human beings

I'm replacing the kitchen faucet (it's old and badly corroded) and so I'm heading out to Home Depot. Within an hour -- probably even within a half hour -- I get two comments of the type "why don't you have your husband do that?" Two people think so little of a woman's abilities that they were willing to say that TO MY FACE. About a faucet replacement, for God's sake! I'm not replumbing the house! I wonder how many thought it but were polite enough not to say it. I'm going to guess a bunch. (No, of course no one said anything positive. Of course not.)

Right this instant, I want to live where there are no other human beings within hours of me.
