As far as misfits (not MITSFS, despite the pronunciation ;) go... I lived in Senior House.
For me it's usually EITHER time OR money
Clearly money in my case... at $75-85 per Hobbs hour for a light trainer, I can never seem to justify spending $300 on myself when there are past-due bills and school expenses pending. Sigh. It'd cost me $500-800 just to get a Wings section or a current biannual check, although I maintain a current medical certificate (a fringe benefit of working at NASA).
