And incredibly grey in February ;-).

I was used to that, at least, since I'd grown up in Massachusetts. I can only imagine what my housemate Albert went through his first winter. He was from Hawaii, and had never before seen snow falling.

Stanford (IMO) is saner.

Precisely why I would have withered at Stanford. I wouldn't have learned half as much... outside of class, at least. I would have been the same misfit I'd always been. Perhaps MIT is best for those who really have no place else to go.

Your words remind me of how much I miss flying, too... :-/

What stops you? For me it's usually EITHER time OR money, although I admit sometimes those are excuses for me.
