Well, for all practical purposes, it is. I don't even turn around any more if someone says "Carol." And if someone asks for "Carol" on the phone, I know it's a telemarketer and I ask if I can take a message. :-) (Even better, if someone asks for "Mrs. French," I can answer with all honesty that she is in Kentucky!)

But the full legal name is Carol Jean Smith. "CJ" is what my parents called me when they weren't mad at me. 8-)
